This is my second Carol piece and hopefully many more to come. Straight leg, but very restricting at first because of the glued seams. It’ll take a while to break it in. I’m always worried that I’ll snap the chain effect on either side of my knees, but dudes creations are so disfunctional, clean and simple. I can’t resist.

Somewhat of an alternative to the older school boy pants that I could never seem to obtain at the right price or size. The wider top and extreme slimness from the calf down is an interesting effect. So badass and perfect for derbies.

I actually got my custom LUC J-Pants a while back. Composition of the pants are 70% Cotton and 30% Linen with custom measurements.
I’ve had a few problems and am a little surprised that they’ve torn in two different places. Maybe just bad luck on my part? Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with some needle and thread. The fit is spot on with what I wanted though.
Needless to say, I’m pretty obsessed with Luca’s work and I can’t get enough. So, if you’re a 44/46 EU and are looking to sell, contact me.

Picked up a pair of these because I couldn’t locate the black treated version. After receiving these, I went ahead and did a custom order in black without the sutures, just a regular J pant for easy wearin’ days.

Located a black pair and traded in my white jawns. I dig the way the poplins are cut, not too baggy, not to slim. The denim aircuts fit really big and usually come in nasty washed colors. From what I’ve seen in showrooms, the big question for SS10 is, will the aircut shorts work? I’m definately intriguied.

To study new forms, new conceptions and perceptions of matter to shape knitwear as if it were clay, that’s what characterises the creative career of Luca Laurini, the ‘deus ex machina’ of Label Under Construction. A project aimed at setting aside the trends of conventional fashion to create products whose origins and success are to be grounded on ancient manufacturing traditions.
Their creations take their cue from a passion for and the rigour of architecture whose distinctive feature is detail planning with a desire to study in depth and show every single particular so that it becomes the primary distinctive mark of the whole item.
My first LUC piece and I’m hooked.
