A Little more of a outerwear teaser until Austin’s show in February. Some lookbook scans are floating around, but here are some pics worn in the flesh. This is definately a big leap for Austin, as he has put together a complete full collection. Details and fabrics chosen are spot on. The leather’s have always [...]
Rick Owens – FW09 Paris “Celebrate the freak, create the creature”

Rick has always been known for his stellar use of raw and edgy proportions, but there were always a few pieces that could work better with just a tad bid of tailoring. I’ve always admired the classical, clean tailored pieces. FW09 ain’t no different in a sense…. The cashmere long coats, wool waistcoats and blazers look impeccable. But when you get to the middle, its east meets west hobo mountaineering. I’m just sayin’…… stay away from it please! You’re too good for it. Let KK Attachment handle [...]
Number (N)ine – FW09 Paris
Jawns — raymondchiu @ 1:14 am on January 22, 2009
Takahiro Miyashita, the Japanese designer behind Number (N)ine, is to shutter the label after 12 years in business. “When you’re finished changing,… I’m assuming expectations were too high and they just couldn’t be met, could also be the recession, but i highly doubt it. You don’t just fold 15 years vs 1 year of bad [...]
