A Maurizio Altieri (Carpe Diem) and Alessio Zero (Layer-0) collaboration.

There are 3 models (derbies, ankle and high) and 3 types of leathers used (horse, deer and lamb). All the leather has been buried and aged for 10+ years.

Each shoe seems to have aged differently, as one shoe is darker than the other. Not as noticeable under regular light. This is a once in a lifetime project, I just couldn’t resist.

I happened to chance upon your old post regarding a Julius_7 Jut Neck Jacket you had, as chance would have it, I am VERY much in the market for such a jacket! Forgive my intrusive message, but I have been searching high and low for a jacket like the one you described in your earlier posts.

I am attaching the message I sent to another member of the forum, because I want to extend the same offer to you! ANY help or counsel, I will owe you BIG.

Though I haven’t had the pleasure of making your acquaintance, I can assure you, that a favor in my book is BETTER than gold. I unfortunately suffer my cravings for the rare and esoteric in silence either because of rampant ignorance that surrounds me, or fear of judgment for my grandiose, impetuous, unquenchable zest for the best of everything in my life. I am one of the fortunate few who not only was well brought up, but is thankful (daily,) for the extreme good fortune which I have both been granted and have engendered for myself. I am demanding, discerning, dispassionately driven, and most of all, fiercely loyal and appreciative of those who believe in me and support my drive to thrive!

For your reference, my ebay user ID is exactly the same as my login name on StyleZeitgeist, (leavingoutname). I have an exemplary record, and I believe myself to be quite fair. I have done my diligence, searched high and low, and have it on good authority that your jacket is the only SZ. 4 Julius_7 jacket currently on sale on the interweb.

To be honest however, while your jacket is undeniably beautiful, the one I have really been scouring the world for is the FW09 Jut Neck in Black, Stone Grey, or Red in SZ. 3 or 4. Since it appears that you too are no wisp of a man, I had hoped you might be able to give me some guidance as where to best focus my efforts in finding my unicorn!

I really would like both jackets to be honest, and would definitely offer you a substantial finders fee either financially, or experientially for helping in my seemingly interminable quest for the Julius_7 gear I seek (I say ‘experientially’ because my family owns the largest luxury / exotic car dealership in Los Angeles, and should you help me nab my unicorn, it would be my pleasure to give you a lovely weekend here in Los Angeles as a gesture of my EXTREME gratitude.) Please excuse my forward nature, but I have already spent an inordinate amount of time diverting my energy, spirit, and passion towards tracking down the jacket of my dreams, and given that you already have your hands on a close cousin to the holy grail I seek, you appear uniquely poised to serve as a valuable guide on my grail quest. Carpe Diem S45 Laceups in a soft calf leather. I found this beauty a few months back and I pretty much wear them 3-4 times a week now. The construction is precise, clean and simple.

Something that will last a lifetime.

A few new knits were introduced this season, but the majority of it are classic gems rehashed in different materials. There was a certain time that I knew I had to have that Scarf collared jacket, but it always looked ill fitting on everyone I’ve seen it on. The blazer looks better than previous fall winter seasons, -material is a light wool and seems to fall on the body exceptionally well. I had a chance to try it on and I will probably use this for the fall.

It’s summer and there haven’t been any good shorts that have caught my eye. Perfect solution? Cropped pants. Nothing too exciting, but something to get me through this summer without having to spend massive amounts.

The beige Mihara cropped pants are 100% cotton. A little bit grungy, which is good. It prevents them from looking like capris or some shit. Black Forme’ pants are Rammie+Cotton. They’re quite elegant in a way and can be dressed up or down. Lately, I have been pairing them with Carpe round-toe derbies which has been quite nice not having to compromise and go with generic low top sneakers.

Do you ever feel like shit and/or miserable after you “let the one get away”. Well, I’ve had three chances to obtain this and I finally got it yesterday. Probably worked out for the best, as this is the cheapest I’ve seen it.
