Julius Leather……HOW DO I FIX THIS?

So yeah….. My julius leather jkt now has hole/peel on the left arm. I don’t know how to fix this. It can’t be sewn because it’ll just pull on the leather more. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m quite distraught.

  1. other than taking it too somewhere experienced with leather repair, which i’m sure you’ll do or have done.

hit up dressew on haistings, go downstairs and look for the iron on repair patches. i’ve used them to repair tears in goretex fabrics and they’ve worked well. you iron the patch onto the inside and it holds the torn piece in place.

i don’t know how it would work on leather, but you could always grab some leather at dressew and test it first.

    hope this helps

  2. With leather you can glue a thin piece of leather underneath the tear or hole. Give it a try. If it doesn’t good, you can always take it off!

  3. we had that problem with some geller leathers, I just did a tight stitch with some black thread and a leather (glovers) needle. It’s hardly noticable, and looks cool in my opinion. I like it when clothes are beat up, but that’s just me.

  4. i have a rip exactly like this on my ro jacket and was wondering what you had done?

    thanks
