It was everything I wanted it to be, minus the super hot model chicks. We met a lot of great people and I, personally, learned a whole lot about the wholesale game. Meeting all the great designers and reps was a huge blessing and a great timely opportunity for me and my partner to get things rolling.
I’m still trying to soak everything in and get a feel for the industry. Hopefully this inspirational trip will lead me in the right direction.
If I was financially ready, I’d make the move to New York for a few years. There’s nothing in Vancouver, music and fashion industry is pretty non-existant and bland as fuck. You end up doing the same shit over and over and over.
Some picturessssssssssssssssss. I’d show more, but the majority of my good pictures are from showrooms and in-house. I will respect the designers and their designs and not leak them onto the i-net. I wasn’t too concerned about the scenery. This trip was all about business.
