Recent Buys – Damir Doma SS09

First, I’d like to thank Bart and the good people at Damir for getting this package to me after a 2nd try. You guys are truly the best!

Actually got this package last week, but I’ve been enjoying the rare sunny weather in Vancouver and I’ve been wearing it all non-stop (literally). I have my eye on some other pieces and will probably place an order on monday. The quality problems from FW08 were addressed, definately down with Doma 100 percent!

So this is what came in the package:
2 Tarique Layered Tshirts (1 Black, 1 White)
Pacitti Wool Drop Crotch Trousers
Paem Cotton Dual Layer Shorts

I’ve always had a problem with Rick tees from SS08 Creatch – Present, because they fit so fucking long. I’m not over 6″ and I’m built like a stick, so what options do I have? Julius, Doma, maybe KK attachment? Of all those 3, I’d take DD any day. I wasn’t too sure about the Paem shorts, mainly because all the styled pictures had the sides puff out so much, but dudes were probably wearing 46′s when they should have been wearing 44′s. Still, I prefer last springs, so lmk whats up if you find a 44. I was most surprised with the Pacitti Drop Crotch’s. Its a really light wool, but fucking sturdy and there are so many ways to wear it, 3/4 or 1/2 rolled up.

    Great items. I love the Damir Doma collection and have the Pacitti trousers, too. I also have the Junko jacket which is a piece of art for me. The wool counterpart to the Rick Owens leather jackets.
    I’m desperate to find decent boots, similar to the Augusta, Guidi or MA+ boots, but cheaper of course. Any suggestions?

    They fit a size bigger actually. I have a a size 44. And thw waist fits like. 32. Call the paris store they’re 40 off right now
